DOMESTIC PROTECTOR: TRAUMATIC INJURY
Tactical Medicine for Head of Households and Couple

KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN MINUTES COUNT DURING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Today’s world of medevac helicopters and ambulances that can be at your house in nine minutes with a million dollars worth of state of the art emergency medical gear have made traditional first aid classes obsolete. No longer do you need to stabilize an injury at home because you cannot get to a hospital quickly or have to wait a long time for help to arrive.

But do you know how to treat an injury so traumatic your loved one will not survive those nine minutes unless they receive immediate emergency first aid? The same Tactical Medicine that is used by soldiers, SWAT Teams, and Security Contractors.

DO YOU HAVE THE MEDICAL SKILLS TO TREAT A LOVED ONE IF THEY ARE INJURED DUE TO UNEXPECTED VIOLENCE OR A SEVERE ACCIDENT AT HOME?

  • An active shooter opens fire at work and you have seconds to stop arterial bleeding
  • You are in a car accident and your friend hits their face on the dashboard injuring their face so badly they cannot breathe
  • At home your child accidently falls onto a sharp object and punctures a lung
  • Do you know what items to have in your home first aid kit to treat severe traumatic injuries?

LEARN THE SAME MEDICAL SKILLS USED IN WAR ZONES AND UNPACIFIED URBAN AREAS

DVM Training Center has developed the Domestic Protector series of classes for families and head of households so they can learn the same skills used by professionals in the world’s most dangerous places. The Tactical Medicine for Head of Households and Couples Class will teach you the medical skills so you can make sure you know what to do when nine minutes is too long.

Our instructors have identified injuries unsurvivable within a nine minute time-frame most likely to happen in everyday life. And then developed easy to learn lesson blocks they will teach you using hands-on examples, the latest commonly available medical gear along with a take home training program so you can practice with your family and friends.

THE FOLLOWING IS A PARTIAL LIST OF WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS HANDS-ON CLASS:

  • How to properly use a tourniquet if a loved one suffers a serious injury or amputation to their arm or leg.
  • How to stop severe bleeding instantly.
  • What First Aid items you must have at home, in your car, and on your person and how to use them.
  • How to treat gunshots, stab wounds, amputations, and other traumatic injuries that could happen at home, on the road, or in public places.
  • Simple medical practice drills you can practice at home or anywhere.
