DVM AID TEAM

MISSION PLANNING, MISSION RECON, AND ON THE GROUND MISSION LEADERSHIP FOR ALL AID MISSIONS ARE CONDUCTED BY JAMES PRICE.

DVM Humanitarian Aid is the aid arm of DVM USA.

DVM'S ARMED MISSION TEAMS SPECIALIZE IN PROVIDING CRITICAL, LIFE-SAVING HUMANITARIAN AID AND SECURITY IN PLACES OFTEN CONSIDERED TOO DANGEROUS FOR OTHER AID GROUPS

With the generous donations from regular people like you, dvm HUMANITARIAN aid has provided protective security, medical care, food, water, shelter, clothing and security to thousands of men, women and children in Iraq Kurdistan, the Philippines, Honduras, and The United States.

DIRECT ACTION AID©

Our approach to Humanitarian Aid Missions is rooted in the small team tactics and mission planning used in American Special Forces and the Long Range Desert Group of WWII. We first recon the area of operation eyes-on, our recon specialist will perform security and route surveys, locate supply points, negotiate with local nationals for access to sites requiring aid, arrange for all licenses and permits in the host country, stage equipment, arrange housing, acquire vehicles and recruit local nationals to assist and augment our team.

After our Recon Specialist has completed all pre-deployment reconnaissance we deploy a small team with 4 to 1 of our PSD Mobile Scouts. When the PSD Mobile Scouts are Boots on the Ground they link up with our Recon Specialist and Local National Team to deliver Humanitarian Aid at a greater speed at a fraction of the cost other aid groups.

Our PSD Mobile Scouts most stand apart from other aid organizations due to our focus on armed security, secure logistics, and reconnaissance. Where other aid organizations only see danger that paralyzes them into inaction and do not respond. We drop our Recon Specialists and Small Teams into the fray and deliver Humanitarian Aid before the other aid organizations even leave their hotels.

We call this type of aid delivery “Direct Action Aid”. Direct Action Aid was independently developed by James Price and is the first of its kind to be used in what was once only the arena of large aid organizations or the US Military.

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

Our Mission Team Leaders and Recon Specialists have a minimum of 10 Years, a combined 500 Missions, and 3 years leading Armed Local National teams of experience in war zones and non-permissive environments. To join our teams as a Team Leader who plans, and deploys into the field leading PSD Teams in non-permissive environments the Team Leader or Recon Specialist must have these 10 years, 500 missions with 3 of those years leading armed LN teams under their belts, no exceptions. We will not risk getting team members and the people we protect killed or seriously injured due to mistakes made by people of lesser experience.

Team Leader experience is especially a concern when leading PSD Team Members who have less experience or are being mentoring into the protective fields, as many of our newer team members are. It is our policy Mission Team Leaders must be a 10 year veteran of operating in non-permissive environments, not only as a team member, but also in a paid Senior Team Leader position where they planned and conducting high-risk missions in war zones simultaneously for multiple teams. There are no exceptions to this experience requirement.

PSD MOBILE SCOUTS

Our Volunteer PSD Mobile Scouts come from a verity of interesting backgrounds both in blue and white collar industries, the US Military and Law Enforcement.

All PSD Mobile Scout Mission Team members attend a week long pre-deployment training and vetting that uniquely allows our Team Leader to identify the qualities desirable to this type of PSD work. These PSD Mobile Scouts are all volunteers who graciously donate their time to help people in the world’s most dangerous places. This extremely specialized Mission PSD Team Member Training was developed by James Price based on his decade of conducting missions and training members of the US Military and Contractors in Iraq, the grater Middle East and Kurdistan as a U.S. Contractor.

Just like our Team Leaders and Recon Specialists, Lead PSD Mobile Scout Instructors have a minimum of 10 Years and 500 missions of in-country experience in war zones and non-permissive environments. Due to the dangerous nature of PSD we have set a policy of high standards for our Lead Instructors. Anything less would be unethical and extremely dangerous because we know many PSD Mobile Scout Team Members currently work in the protective industry and may deploy overseas with other teams. Only an extremely experienced PSD instructor knows the small nuances that will get a PSD Agent Killed and over time gain an instinct for identifying small faults in students to fix that a lesser experienced Instructor would completely miss. This is deadly and will 100% get a PSD Agent killed.

NOTE: “PSD Mobile Scout” Training is not the “Mobile Scout School”. The Mobile Scout School includes elements of PSD training but is a completely different class. Taking the Mobile Scout School does not qualify students for overseas deployment.  "Missions" = Planned in-country movements.
